MokaFive Player BareMetal Hard Drive

MokaFive Player allows end users to play LivePCs on any hardware and from anywhere. Player comes in 3 versions - Windows, Mac, or BareMetal™.

BareMetal™ MokaFive Player is perfect for computer labs or installations on computers without an operating system license. BareMetal™ can be installed on a formatted drive, a drive partition, or a removable USB drive. BareMetal™ has two different downloads. One installs BareMetal™ onto a removable USB device. This installer must be burned to a CD and will install BareMetal onto an internal hard drive as a bootable drive.

MokaFive Player BareMetal USB

MokaFive Player allows end users to play LivePCs on any hardware and from anywhere. The Player comes in 3 versions - Windows, Mac, or BareMetal™.

BareMetal™ MokaFive Player is perfect for computer labs or installations on computers without an operating system license. BareMetal™ can be installed on a formatted drive, a partition, or a removable USB drive. BareMetal™ has two different downloads. One for installation on an internal hard drive using an installer CD. This installer runs on Windows and installs BareMetal™ onto a removable USB device.

On a USB device you can boot into MokaFive Player on any computer that allows booting from USB. Alternatively you can use the USB drive to install BareMetal™ on other computers.

Project iPhone Sentinel for Mac OS X (tech preview)

Now you can run LivePC™ virtual machines off your iPhone! iPhone Sentinel makes your iPhone appear as a disk drive on your computer, allowing you to install any software you want on it. It also includes the features of USB Sentinel:

• prevents you from losing data due to an accidental unplug,
• optimizes writing to the drive so your iPhone will last longer,
• and improves performance, especially when operating on smaller files.

Installation instructions:

1. Download and run iPhone Sentinel.
2. Plug your iPhone into your computer using the USB cable.
3. Follow the onscreen instructions to set up your iPhone as a disk drive.

Project USB Sentinel for Windows XP (tech preview)

USB drives can fail from being unplugged while in use, and simply from excessive reading and writing. Installing our Project USB Sentinel on your USB drive should:

• prevent you from losing data due to an accidental unplug,
• optimize writing to the drive so your drive lasts longer,
• and improve performance, especially for slower drives.

Installation instructions:

1. Download USB Sentinel and copy it onto your USB drive.
2. Double-click on the USB Sentinel icon.
3. The Sentinel drive will appear as a new drive letter.
4. Unplug your drive when finished - there is no need to click eject!

Now is your chance to try it yourself! If you've ever lost data to a drive being bumped out of its slot you know how important that USB connection is. Our tool will warn you to re-plug any drive unplugged inappropriately and will safely finish transferring files.

NOTE 1: This is currently experimental software!

NOTE 2: Project USB Sentinel currently only works on Windows XP SP2 (32-bit) and does not work when logged in as limited user.

NOTE 3: Project USB Sentinel does not work on some drives that require their own driver, such as encrypted drives.

For Windows computers you must have local administrator privileges or MokaFive Player or Creator must have been previously installed. This downloads the installation for removable USB devices.

NOTE: MokaFive Creator for OS X requires VMware Fusion to be previously installed on the host Mac computer.

MokaFive Guest Tools

MokaFive Guest Tools is run within Windows LivePCs. The tools are for LivePCs not created using the unattended install option or created with earlier MokaFive (or Moka5) applications. Running the tools will allow your LivePC to support HGFS user files.
