Position—Software Engineer

Position Description

Research, develop, create, and modify general computer applications software or specialized utility programs. Analyze and integrate software per user needs and develop software solutions. Design software or customize software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency. Extend additional hypervisors, host and guest operating systems and hardware. Utilize guest tools including a kernel driver.

Requirements

Position may require Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Physics or related technical field. Employer will accept 6 months of work experience in job offered or 6 months of work experience in a computer-related occupation. Education or experience must include:

1. designing, developing and implementing computer software;
2. high-level programming languages including C and C++;
3. algorithm development;
4. TCP/IP suite of network protocols;
5. distributed systems;
6. implementing an API interception layer.

Experience may be gained concurrently. Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable.

Position—Software Engineer

Position Description

Research, develop, create, and modify general computer applications software or specialized utility programs. Analyze user needs and develop software solutions. Design software or customize software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency. Gather requirements for desktop computer management products, analyze and develop designs, implement the designs as coded programs, test and debug the programs, and fine-tune the programs' performance as necessary. Utilizes graduate-level research and analysis skills.

Requirements

Position may require Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Physics or related technical field. Employer will accept 3 years of work experience in job offered or 3 years of work experience in a computer-related occupation. Education or experience must include:

1. designing, developing and implementing computer software;
2. high-level programming languages including C and C++;
3. algorithm development;
4. TCP/IP suite of network protocols;
5. operating systems including UNIX;
6. hardware, software and remote debuggers.

Experience may be gained concurrently. Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable.
